When I revived the blogging portion of this site a couple of years ago I mentioned all the iterations of blogging I've gone through. This site started focusing more on streaming and videos and I rarely actually blogged words that were worth reading. So I just made the front page one post that was and embed of my live feed. I'm not really sure when I stopped posting the videos and focusing on live streaming because. Maybe it was around the end of 2012 because that's the last post to my post archive but the last post was linking to this blog so I don't know. It was probably around 2015 or so. I mean I try to make the posts more worth while than just merely posting a video but it's few and far between because most people that watch my videos or streams just go to YouTube page it contact me in discord. I don't want yo disband this page but I do post less. I'm pretty sure it's just age because in 2016 i did start a new more personal blog that mirrors the early 2000s journaling I used to do and I realized when I was a teen and a 20 something day to day was different and exciting something new to post about day to day. Like if I didn't post for a few days it felt like forever. But now everyday is pretty much the same... work, kids, wife, games. There isn't a new hardcore show every weekend or a new girl in my life or whatever. I'm an adult now with a comforting yet boring life to blog about. I wouldn't have it any other way...

Blogger app sucks

Well i tried to post about our doki doki streams and upload the flyer and all and the whole thing froze and I had to delete the app and I didnt ever reinstall to re do it. Well those streams are done and the persona 4 charity extra life streams and going strong. I'll re edit this post on the pc to add the next live stream event so this app doesn't go crazy again. The ddlc streams went very well but the p4g streams not so much other than a couple of loyal viewers so maybe ddlc was a flavor of the week fluke. But oh well it was fun.

Reviving a ghost

I have not messed with this blog and/site in over a year. Mostly because I never renewed my domain name last year and never decided if I was going to keep it. I also dismantled the game video playlist since no one really came here to see videos or really came here for anything.

I guess I had this site mostly for myself. Something to do and try and keep myself somewhat creative since I'm not playing or writing music. Buy anyway guess I could recap some of what happen in 2017.

It was year awakenedheathen dot com died. I finally decided to finish what I started... and that was peesona 4 golden. I fell in love with a character and I was having a hard time with that because I fell in love with her because it was like meeting Amber my wife all over again. I finished a nearly 100 hour gsme in about a week and suddenly all other games felt like I was eating bland food after I just had a steak from a 5 star chef. Then my second son was conceived (a chie satonaka jacket was involved)

I was going to play and stream persona 4 for my podcaster friend mike aka the Scarfinger. Something ended up not working out so we did a podcast instead and thus started me being s co host of the scarcasm podcast. We did get to stream two videos of persona 4 from the ps3(ps2 version emulated) and then....

Fast foward to april.. I had just bought an Xbox one s for the family and persona 5 had just came out and it was spring break I left my laptop and my new Xbox at home since I wasn't planning to stay long in hendersonville. I played persona 5 the entire spring break and came home to a robbery. Laptop stolen, vita stolen, ps4 games stolen, ps3 stolen, Xbox one s stolen, studio mic stolen... a broken violated family.

So we moved we had a bad leak in the hallway anyway. We were in a temporary home. Amber was pregnant. We stayed for the rest of the year we had Riley James langdon November 13th 2017.

Fast foward to February and March 2018. Amber bought me a new Xbox one s and we moved to our new non temporary house Which is also only 15 min from work. I bought a new pc from a friend who builds and now we are back to streaming. We are back to doing extra life. We are back to normal.

Maybe awakenedheathen dot com will come back.

But for now we have our doki doki stream to finish! And a new p4g stream for extra life all year to make up for pretty much quitting most streaming for the year of robbery, pregnancy, moving, and waifu.

Silent fall

Well since the hendersonville trip its been busy around here. Haven't had much s chance to game or stream. Recently I've been fixing that though. I've started a YouTube series of 10 min videos of me going through the diablo story with my monk. I've just been chilling at hard difficulty but after the butcher I'll move up to expert. Didn't want it to been to much of a challenge just to get through the story at a casual pace. I've also uploaded a couple of overwatch videos of me going through some coop matches with friends.

I am also revamping the mixtape as a much larger scale shuffle radio since its been such a chore to update every month and I want it to be eclectic as it can be so after the holidays I will not change the mix at all and only add songs until its full at that point i will make a v2 mix but I'm sure that will not happen for a long time since you can add days of music into playlists on spotify. Sorry to anyone who downloaded the mix but its just so much more manageable that way. I will still make smaller mixes though and i will post them if so but the main mix will act more like an ultimate mix to keep it eclectic. I also came up with an image for the mix. A new feature Spotify just added which was something i was waiting for for a long time.

More frequent updates should come out after the holidays as well

An small update

Just thought id update how you guys access the embedded playlist. So instead of having it on a separate page accessible through tabs above, i embedded it in the right side bar so it shows on the front page without having to post it in an update. Enjoy!

Late update

Sorry its been so long since an update. The mix has been updated for October. Well in september i have been mostly playing destiny the rise of iron, farcry 4, deus ex, and bioshock collection. I wanted to stream bioshock but i didn't want to hook up the capture card and 2k blocks the collection from being streamed from consoles which i admit is lame but on one hand I'm surprised its took this long for a game company from doing this, game assets, art, logos, and music are copyright protected and it is a miracle of a privilege that we have been able to stream and upload gaming videos so easily and so endorsed by devs and publishers. So enjoy it while you can i see this as a first step to a trend.

Also i have done some destiny videos and a farcry video with jescor a dadshideout friend. I'm not gonna post them here just check game video playlist or go to my YouTube channel.

September mix and the beta

We have a new mix up on the mix tape for September. Its been up for a few days but it is the the 6th before I'm posting about it. So click the tab above yo subscribe and take a listen for a mix to send summer away and bring autumn in.

Also this past weekend has been fun for the battlefield beta, i played one match last wednesday and a few on Saturday those matches are featured on youtube below. I had alot of fun with it and i like the new WWI setting. Same with old battlefield games though, not so fun alone - tons of fun with friends.. Luckily a lot of my dadshideout friends play battlefield so I'll never run out of people to play battlefield with.

I've also been playing inside which is the new game from playdead who developed limbo and i love that game and I'm loving thia new game as well. I will post the playlist of my lets play once I'm done with it. Until then you can watch them on my youtube channel or catch me live in twitch!
