I haven't been active the past week for a couple of reasons. I haven't been gaming much and I haven't been up to writing much.
One major update is that I'm trying out Google play music for my music streaming service i there are some pros and cons. One major pro is the library size can been up to 50,000 songs including music not on google plus music like you can actually upload music to play that you may own that isn't in their library so that is nice. A con is the ui i mean it looks nice but i don't like that if you go to show all albums it is alphabetized by album name not artist. And if you show all artists it goes to directly to the artist page which is annoying not to just go to albums i have saved. But that's not that big of a deal. Another con is there is no ecosystem like spotify. With spotify i can control it from my phone and it will play from the ps4 or pc and vice versus. That feature is a huge pro for spotify but the limited library saving is a huge con for it (i mean if i cant save it i can always just search it for streaming without saving to mt library, and they may update the size later who knows)
I still have a month left on my google music sub but once its over im really thinking of going back to spotify for the ease of the ecosystem and using phone+tablet+pc+ps4 all linked on same instance.
Spotify also has better social features for sharing playlists and following friends. But price and value wise google comes with the music streaming service and youtube red which is a nice addition not to have ads on YouTube and not stop videos on my phone just because i went to a text message.
All that said I updated the mix and its definitely more eclectic and less heavy but there is some heavy moments in there and its 30 tracks dip at 2 hours and 10 minutes so enjoy!
